The Andesian Guardianship was a polity that was located in the general region of the Dilithium Belt (i.e., the "southeast passage"), specifically where Orions had active interests.[1][2]

In 2239, USS Hood (NCC-1644, Richter cruiser) disappeared without a trace while in supposedly routine transit through Andesian-controlled territory.[3]

The Guardianship purchased five Loknar class frigates from the Federation (in either the forties or fifites). They also purchased the first two Achernar class heavy cruisers that were custom-built for export sales.[1][2]

Notes

  • The Guardianship may refer to the military authority of the Andesians, rather than their entire state.
