Historical Events
- The final Advance class battle cruiser is stricken from Star Fleet's registry.[1]
- The last of the Keppler sub-class of Ptolemy fleet tug/tenders are completed.[2]
- USS Texas, the first of the final 26 remaining Texas class light cruisers to receive overhauls, is completed, as a new Texas (II) class light cruiser.[3]

- The final Guardian class heavy escort is decommissioned.[5]
- Construction starts on the Paladin subclass destroyer.[6]
- USS New America (NCC-2706, Loknar frigate) tractors to safety a Federation starliner that had suffered an impulse drive malfunction on approach of Procyon and was in danger of plunging into the cromosphere of the star with 400 people aboard.[7]
