History
- Early 23rd century: Numerous, but brief, conflicts are occuring between the Vestians and the Federation.[1]
- 2244: A treaty of non-aggression is signed between the Vestian Council and the Federation.[1][2]
- 2246: A civil war breaks out in the Vestios system, involving rebels on Vestios II.[1]
- 2246: A Vestian rebel ship engages deep space frigate USS Aldrin (NCC-1450), assigned to patrol the common border; the rebel ship is destroyed, but not before the Star Fleet starship erroneously fires upon an official Vestian ship. Aldrin's executive officer negotiates a peaceful resolution.[1][2]
- The details of the USS Aldrin are SFC-canon.
- 2310: The United Federation of Planets extends membership to Vestios Prime.[1]

- This is the homesystem of the Vestians.
- There are date discrepancies between the cited source article and this one. SFC-canon defaults to "Vestians", since it better supports Christopher Pike's presence.
- The location of Vestios is un-established, other than that it is "proximate to Starbase 3".[3] An extremely non-canon source places the starbase near Vulcan, in the Beta quadrant, so SFC-canon defaulted to a similar location for Vestios.
