History
- 2037: Following the lead of the Central African States, the nations in the northwestern part of the continent form the Northern African Alliance.[1]
- 2130: The Northern African Alliance, Central African States, and United States of Africa join together in the African Confederation.[1]
- Happens right before the 'Traité d'Unification signing, with the African Confederation as the first signatory.
Notes
The Northern African Alliance is SFC-canon only. It was created to help define the (alpha-canon) United States of Africa and African Confederation. I've decided it encompasses the nations west of Libya, and bordered by the Central African States. The member states are as follows:
- Algeria
- Benin
- Burkina Faso
- Cape Verde
- Ghana
- Guinea
- Guinea-Bissau
- Ivory Coast
- Liberia
- Libya
- Mali
- Mauritania
- Morocco
- Niger
- Nigeria
- Senegal
- Sierra Leone
- The Gambia
- Togo
- Tunisia
- Western Sahara
