History
- Approximately) 27,700 BCE: The Orions of the Fourth Empire build Kolhor Station on Rigel Xb as a research station.[2]

Notes
- While the gas giant is officially Rigel X, colloquially, when that name is used, it references the moon Kolhor.
- The Hakel radiation belt emitted by Beta Rigel A provides a "green zone" environment for all the planets—including those in orbit of Beta Rigel BC—with the exception of Rigel I and the asteroid belt situated in the orbit just beyond it.
