The Debrune are a vulcanoid race that developed as a result of the Romulan diaspora of 369. They scattered across both the Alpha and Beta quadrants, with several outposts and colonies, many of which failed or were abandoned.[1][2]
Appearance
The vulcanoid Debrune are indistinguishable from their Vulcan and Romulan counterparts, as they are a splinter society from the two. Primitive equipment may be unable to determine a Debrune from a Vulcan, as the two share almost identical physiologies. However, certain medications and treatments cannot automatically be assumed to work on both species, likely attributed to their divergent development. They have the same physical features, copper-based blood, and similar levels of strength. Debrune, like Vulcans, are also susceptible to Tuvan syndrome. Some Debrune are also capable of mind-melding with others.[3]
