Historical Events

• The last of twelve Kovaris Flight II and Dace Flight II light destroyers are reactivated and upgraded (to the Kovaris Flight III standard) for emergency service in the wake of the Organian disappearance.

• The final Voltara class cargo drone is removed from service with Star Fleet.

• Survey frigate USS Soyuz (NCC-1239) is retired and scrapped, completing the class' service.

• President Hiram Roth dies on Election Day, shortly after being selected to serve a third term. President Pro Tempore Alistair Fergus assumes the office until a special general election can be held, and the new president sworn in (on the following January 21st).

• The Chandley Flight I class strike frigates placed on the inactive list—rather than converted to the linear Flight IV standard—are stricken.

• The final Enterprise subclass heavy cruiser either enters drydock for conversion to Enterprise Flight II subclass standards or is mothballed.

• The final Enterprise Flight I heavy cruiser identified for conversion to Flight II standard is recommissioned.

• USS Hood (NCC-1707, Enterprise subclass heavy cruiser) is lost in battle against the Klingon heavy destroyer Qrish; only three members of the crew survive.

• June: USS Hatton (NCC-1782, Brenton class cruiser) discovers a starship duel spawned from a temporal anomaly that spat out two vessels from the Romulan War. The Hatton was able to extract the Earth combatant from the fight.
