- The planet 522-IV is explored by the surveyor USS Schliemann during a standard pre-colonization assessment mission, where planetwide ruins are discovered by Dr. Helmut Kreutzer.[1]
- The Dauntless (NCC-01) and the Valiant (NCC-04), both rendered un-battleworthy in the Romulan War, are struck from the rolls, along with the remaining Triton heavy destroyers.[2]
- The twelfth and final Almeida class heavy (later multi-mission) cruiser is delivered to Star Fleet.[3]
- Bajoran poet Akorem Laan departs the planet on a lightship and goes missing in the vicinity of the Denorios Belt.[4]
