Prototype Notes

Constellation Fusion Testbed (2226)

  • Blank 1 image
  • no livery, no registry, no name

Constellation Dilithium Testbed (2238)

  • Horizon hull (i.e., Blank 1)
  • upward pylons
  • streamlined saucer on the dorsal side, just below the bridge, like an early version of the Pilot saucer probably pre-Siva
  • PB-31 nacelle
  • "standard" neck
  • livery, NX registry, non-USS name

Republic Pre-production Prototype (2238)

  • Republic saucer & neck
    • both "boxes" still here, but bottom one ribbed
    • small, cramped hangar in the bottom "box" (not on stern)
  • use the secondary hull as seen on File:Constellation (PB-31).png
    • needs to be more narrow than either the Horizon or the pilot Enterprise secondary hulls
  • no weapons
  • livery, NX registry, non-USS name

Constitution Production Prototype (2241)

  • same as "Republic Pre-production Prototype"
  • with weapons
  • livery, NX registry, non-USS name
  • saucer from the Constellation Dilithium Testbed Siva (I) (2240) saucer as a base, with 'updates'.

Enterprise Production Prototype (2245)

  • 1st Pilot pre-1st Pilot
  • secondary hull should be wider than above Republic
  • full livery, registration, USS name
  • on ventral of secondary hull:
    • "main tractor beam assembly"
    • antimatter access/jettison doors
  • PB-31A
  • SRM entry should be named "Constitution Heavy Cruiser (Production Standard)"

Constitution Operational Standard (2245)

  • same as "Enterprise Production Prototype", except...

* ("essentially a") Saladin SBE type impulse engines, just over half the size of the Enterprise's SBA type

  • will use the three-nozzle impulse engines from the prototype (Siva II saucer), based on discussion with Adrasil

Constellation Operational Standard (2245)

  • same as "Enterprise Production Prototype"

Republic Operational Standard (2245)

  • retains the Republic saucer
  • secondary hull overhauled to match File:Republic (first).png
  • secondary hull possibly a simplified version of the Enterprise's pre-pilot

  • Note: won't receive it's own SRM entry, but might visually fit (ortho) onto the Enterprise production prototype entry.
  • Note: should get it's own DA release

Constitution Flt II (2250)

  • 1st Pilot

Bonhomme Richard refit/newbuilds (2250s)

  • 2nd Pilot
  • 2x aft-firing torpedo launchers above shuttle bay (select vessels)
  • lasers replaced by phasers
  • twin phasers replace the auxiliary cargo hold (fantail) (select vessels)
  • 2x (single) phasers on the ventral secondary hull (not fantail) (different select vessels)
  • PB-32 mod 3 nacelles
  • single particle cannons removed

Constitution Flt III (2260)

  • TOS Series
  • Note: Enterprise doesn't get the refit until 2265/2266 (after "Where No Man Has Gone Before")

Victory newbuilds (mid-2260s)

  • same as Bonhomme Richard, but with all weapons

USS Republic cadet ship (2286)

  • All weapons removed/ported over, except for 1 laser
  • minor navigational deflector upgrade similar to Constitution (refit)
  • took over cadet training from (destroyed) Enterprise (NCC-1701)

Ship dimensions

This was the first of the Adrasil collaborations in which he provided the dimensions, based on the (more accurate) Captshade ship scale measurement ruler, rather than using my pixel-based averaged system. Those of the Constitution's three flights and Bonhomme Richards correspond to the canon dimensions.
