Note: at least 3 (maybe 4) of the Oberth class would be assigned to the SCE's Starship Contingent Teams post-2279, following the retirement of the Daedalus class ships in that role. However, the Oberth class vessels may not have directly succeeded the Daedaluses, but may have followed one or more interim classes, as the Oberths were apparently in service with the SCE until at least 2370.
