Mission Statement
The United Federation of Planets Starfleet (commonly referred to as Starfleet) is the deep-space exploratory and military service of the United Federation of Planets. Its principal functions are the advancement of Federation knowledge of science, technology, and the galaxy, and the defense of the Federation against foreign and domestic enemies. Its officers represent Federation interests and often provide support for the ambassadorial service.
Background
The United Federation of Planets Starfleet is the fifth and final (?) 'commander' of the SFC RPG, acting to coordinate all of Federations's defense and exploration activities.
The SFC RPG 'commanders' are:

- International Space Agency: 2018 - 2069
- United Earth Stellar Navy (UESN)/United Earth Space Probe Agency (UESPA): 2069 - 2133
