The Deltan Union was founded in the seventeenth century and operates as a true direct democracy, with all laws and government policies decided by popular vote. Executive functions are administered by the Presidium Cabinet, headed by a prime minister, and elected every twelve years.
History

- 2140: The Deltan Union establishes a scientific colony on Fomalhaut's sole planet.[5]
