History
- By the 4th century: Vulcan is rife with violence and war, arising from the desire for conquest and need for water resources.[1]
- 1270: An armada of invading spaceships pour forth from a new wormhole that has formed near Vulcan and opens intermittently.[1]
- 1376: The intermittent wormhole closes for the final time; the invaders are hunted down and destroyed at their forward bases within the star system, but their identities are never discovered.[1]
- The year is SFC-specific; derived from "after a century of constant warfare...".
- 2218: A Vulcan nationalist group, similar to Earth First, starts to gain support, due in part to increasing Klingon hostility.[2]
