Notes

  • The planet was presumably inaccessible (due to distance) until after first contact with Humans. Early agreements to provide warp technology by Earth and terraforming knowledge by Alpha Centauri Prime led to the granting of the distant world to Earth, establishing a permanent Human presence in the Alpha Centauri system and cementing close ties between the two similar cultures.
