- The first of the Burke, Aldrin and Magellan sub-class frigates (and scout cruisers) start receiving a weapons system upgrade.[4]
- The six Nordenskiöld sub-class light cruisers undergoing sub-class conversion from Baton Rouge sub-class are each re-named after post-Columbian, pre-Carterian Earth explorers.[5]
- The year this occurred is game-canon but supported by Timo's Guide, determined to occur prior to their re-commissioning.
