The Chief of Staff of the United Earth Stellar Navy is a uniformed, post-command captain who directs the staff at United Earth Space Central on behalf of the Commandant. The Chief of Staff coordinates the staff’s planning, operations, personnel, and logistical work; ensures that advice and orders reach the Commandant and subordinate commands in a clear, timely form; and follows up on their execution. The position manages the headquarters’ daily work but does not, by itself, confer command of the Navy or its deployed forces.
The Chief of Staff, United Earth Stellar Navy, is a named PC and a post-command captain.
