Byss Th'Rhalat (2201–2262) was an Andorian statesman who served as the 16th President of the United Federation of Planets from April 2258 to 2262. A thin, sallow thaan and a staunch Archerite, Th'Rhalat was a quiet but fierce advocate for colonial rights and stronger federal institutions, rising to political prominence in the wake of the Tarsus IV disaster.
He is best remembered for leading the historic vote of no confidence that toppled the administration of Erica Barreuco during the aftermath of the first Federation-Klingon War and subsequently winning the first modern interstellar electoral campaign.
