Historical Events
- The last of the Khanate's twenty interplanetary missions are launched from Earth, mostly to Mars.[2]
- Two dozen DY series craft (and associated launch equipment) are recovered by the Earth's superpowers on the ground. The USAF and ROK currently operate the only active spacecraft (2 and 1, respectively; both DY series), while six abandoned Chinese vessels are left in orbit and are later recovered.[2]
- This needs to be amended both here and in the article, as plenty of ships were operated by client nations and were in space. (in SFC-canon).
- The time of failure is assumed, as a factor of early state of dependence for sustainability from the Great Khanate, which had recently fallen.
- The Eurasian Confederation, incorporating Russia and former Soviet satellite nations Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, is founded, in order to combine natural and technical resources and get a foot in the door of the space-faring nations club. [3]
- January 10: Khanton falls, with Khan Singh and 84 followers escaping undiscovered the next day on a DY-100 they had held in reserve.[2][4]
