The Trill system is made up of two stars; the second Trill B, and its planetary system, orbits Trill A.

History
- 2055: The Vulcans initiate First Contact with the Trill. While limited contact with the Vulcans continues, the Trill government declares contact with other alien species to be forbidden.[1]
- 2075: Against broadcasted warnings, the L'Dira attempt to visit Trillius Prime; when rebuked, the aliens fire on the planet, kill over fifty, and raid the capital for a mineral resource.[1]
- 2227: The United Federation of Planets extends membership to the Trill.[2][3]
- 2265: Star Fleet discovers a comet, just outside the system, on a trajectory for Trillius Prime.[4]
