The Federation Customs Service (FCS) is an agency within the United Federation of Planets that is responsible for collecting tariffs and for controlling the flow of goods, including animals, transports, personal, and hazardous items, into and across the borders of the Federation. The three basic missions of the FCS are taxation, security and trade facilitation.
Star Fleet has agreed, at times, to provide ships and crews for the purpose of enforcing the service's mandates.[1][2][3][4][5]

- The existence of the FCS is solely a creation for the SFC game.
