Historical Events

  • The Ottawa subclass of the Hercules transports finished receiving significant warp engine upgrades.[1]
  • All of the Durance class transports (and related subclasses) are retired.[2]
  • The USS Aurora, USS Mistral and USS Rio Negro (all Helena class cruisers) are deployed to the Tarn conflict (and lost).[3]
  • The sixth Poseidon class heavy cruiser clears its box dock, to enter service with the UFP Star Fleet.[4]
  • The 'corvette' designation for the Hippolyta class vessels is officially changed to 'clipper'.[5]
The year of the official change is conjecture, but most likely occurred after the war.
  • The Merchant class heavy transport is introduced by Vickers for commercial use on the fully re-opened Federation cargo routes.[6]
The class being built by Vickers is game-canon, but it did originate with Earth.
  • The Vulcan company Panastris unveils the Gadshen ('aurora') liaison craft.[7]
