Historical Events
- The period of (only) clandestine attacks against non-Romulan shipping comes to an end and the great offensive towards the heartspace of Earth and its allies begins. The first punitive missions against the Romulans are mounted.[1][2]
- Attacks against Earth colonies are generally seen as the beginning of the actual Romulan War.[1]
- Starbase One is lost in a long-reaching Romulan attack.[3]
- The third ship of the Enterprise class is launched.[4]
- The assumption of the year is based on there being four in existence by the Romulan War.
- A seventh ship of the Edison class is ordered.[6]
- The UESS Goddard (Edison class) is lost.[6]
- The Dagger class escort fightercraft enters service.[7]
- Year is conjecture, but occurred by "the time the UESF knew it was facing the Romulan Star Empire".
