Historical Events
- The last of the Khanate's twenty interplanetary missions are launched from Earth, mostly to Mars.[2]
- January 10: Khanton falls, with Khan Singh and 84 followers escaping undiscovered the next day on a DY-100 they had held in reserve.[2][3]
- Two dozen DY series craft (and associated launch equipment) are recovered by the Earth's superpowers on the ground. The USAF and ROK currently operate the only active spacecraft (2 and 1, respectively; both DY series), while six abandoned Chinese vessels are left in orbit and are later recovered.[2]
- The time of failure is assumed, as a factor of early state of dependence for sustainability from the Great Khanate, which had recently fallen.
