The earliness in the year is to allow for a construction period of less than one year.
  • May 1: CWD delivers the flight model of the Placido class surveyor to Starfleet for testing.[2]
Presumption is delivery was made on this date because it was "by May" and propulsion and hull integration took place on the 9th.

  • May 22: Test flights of the Placido model commence.[2]

The presumption the ship was ordered to be commissioned the same day as the warp test is based on the numerous & specific of other milestones.

  • Late: The Ariadne class patrol corvettes enter service.[1]
The lateness in the year is to allow for a construction period of less than one year.
