Historical Events
- Early: Construction begins on the first Ariadne class patrol corvette.[1]
- The lateness in the year is to allow for a construction period of less than one year.
- Presumption is delivery was made on this date because it was "by May" and propulsion and hull integration took place on the 9th.
- May 9: Integration of the propulsion module to the horseshoe adapter at the stern of the Placido mission hull is performed.[2]
- May 22: Test flights of the Placido model commence.[2]
- June 3: The Placido model achieves warp 3 in testing. The ship is ordered commissioned later that same day.[2]
- The presumption the ship was ordered to be commissioned the same day as the warp test is based on the numerous & specific of other milestones.
