No significant planetary bodies orbiting this single star.

61 Cygni B

No significant planetary bodies orbiting this single star.

History

  • 1867: Tellarite astronaut Ranx becomes the first of his species to enter the atmosphere of another planet (Thenar).[1]
He died when his spacecraft crashed on the planet.
  • 1892: The Tellarites have established colonies within their star system, on Rukor, Sivel, and Varagas, and three of Boragus' moons.[2]
  • Prior to 2246: Star Fleet reserves a number of ship construction facilities for the Aakeen class heavy transport.[3]

Important Locations

  • Imprek University
Possibly named after the world or a famous person.[4]

Notes

  • Thenar is the only terrestrial planet unsettled. It was too difficult to terraform or otherwise settle and the mining operations once established there are no longer operational.[1]
