- USS Gobi (NCC-909, Texas class) sails out with auxiliary survey cruisers Minotaur (NAR-24) and Alesia (NAR-23), support cruiser Cryghton (NCC-122, Almeida class) and the elderly scout T’Khian (NCC-75) on an exploration cruise towards the Taurus nebula.[3]
- Star Fleet purchases two existing Infinity starliners, commissioning them as Bryne class hospital ships, and ordering the construction of five more.[4]
