History
- Mid-1850s: Suliban becomes uninhabitable, forcing the species into a long-standing interstellar exile that would last for over four centuries.[1]
- Early 2130s: The foundation of the Suliban Cabal, a radical organization that embraces genetic modifications.[1]
- Late 2160s: The Suliban Cabal collapses following several significant acts of terrorism throughout the Beta Quadrant and Klingon Empire.[1]
- 2220s–2250s: Following the Suliban Cabal's fall, the Suliban are viewed with deep suspicion by galactic powers, living in scattered settlements or assimilating into other cultures as a galactic pariah state.[1]
- Mid-2250s: The Suliban Cabinet is established on the moon Ellec'vell in the Apopka Cluster; however, it lacks the legitimacy to speak for the entire diaspora.[1]
- February 27, 2259: The Klingon Empire, under the regime of Chancellor L'Rell and Premier Sturka, issues a decree declaring all Suliban colonies and persons to be the legal property of the Empire.[1]
- 2259–2262: The Tandaran Polity facilitates the deportation of nearly 2.2 million Suliban from its space directly into Klingon labor markets.[1]
- March–July 2259: The Imperial Navy and Marines begin a systematic campaign of annexation and deportation, rounding up Suliban for use as industrial chattel slavery to fuel the Klingon "productivity turn".[1]
- Mid-2259: A massive refugee crisis develops as Suliban flee toward the Federation; Star Fleet Command activates Task Force Dynamo to rescue thousands of survivors from the Triangle.[1]
- July 10, 2259: Three Imperial Marine regiments storm the capital on Ellec’vell, forcing the Suliban Council of Governance to sign a treaty of subjecthood to the Klingon Empire.[1]
- August 12, 2261: During the centenary Federation Day in Paris, hundreds of citizens celebrate Suliban culture at a party outside the Suliban mission, signaling their acceptance into the "Federation Family".[1]
- August 12, 2261: The USS Hotspur successfully protects 1,300 Suliban and Tandaran refugees aboard the merchant carrier Leith Walk during a 16-hour standoff with Klingon D6 cruisers in the Federation Phalanx.[1]
- Early 2264: The Imperial Control Region (ICR) is used by the Klingon Empire to provide a "veneer of diplomatic authority" for the continued apprehension of Suliban refugees in distant systems.[1]
- 2290s: Laadam, a Suliban refugee rescued in 2261, becomes the first civilian Chief Operations Officer of the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards.[1]
Important Locations
- list known locations that have game implications (ex: defense bases, depots, etc.); otherwise, "None"
Notes
