Gabon, officially the Gabonese Republic, was a country on the west coast of Central Africa of Earth. Located on the equator, it was bordered by Equatorial Guinea to the northwest, Cameroon to the north, the Republic of the Congo on the east and south, and the Gulf of Guinea to the west. It had an area of nearly 270,000 square kilometers and its population was estimated at 2.3 million people. There were coastal plains, mountains (the Cristal Mountains and the Chaillu Massif in the centre), and a savanna in the east.[1]

History

  • 2030s: the United States paid well to one or more Gabonese corporations in order to secure front-of-the-line scheduling needed to loft modules (and the assembly infrastructure that preceded them) of the TAU series of extrasolar exploration vessels.[2]
