- This is the homesystem of the Efrosians, though there is a hypothesis that the species did not originate on Efros.[3]
- The Star Trek IV - The Voyage Home Sourcebook Update claims the Efrosians had first contact with the Federation in 2278. It doesn't seem appropriate that only 11 years later an Efrosian would be selected as President, nor does that acceptance into the UFP jive well with the TrekBBS thread on membership (which has joining occurring no later than the 2290s).
