• Mid: A final design for the Boyden class cargo drone is settled upon. Fifty-four vessels are initially ordered by Star Fleet's Logistics Command.

• Polar City, a colony on Rigel IV, is founded by Federation humans.

Background material is per the Star Trek Roleplaying Game, Book 7: Worlds. Rigel IV also hosts Orions, Vulcan-offshoot Rigelians, Kalar, Andorians and many other species. The year of the Human colony being founded is game-canon, but source materials indicated within the 2180s.

• The Powers class is re-assigned as system patrol craft.

• The last of the Yravas class fightercraft are decommisioned from both Star Fleet and the AIG.

• An Earth colony is founded on Izar.

• The DEV Eagle Valley, commanded by Dan King, launches from the Sol system on a mission of colonization.
