Historical Events

  • The last of the Ottawa subclass of the Hercules transports enters service with the UESN.[1]
  • The first of the Karakorum subclass of the Hercules transports enters service with the UESN.[1]
The date of first service is assumed to follow the acceptance of the last Ottawa.
  • Type III cargo modules are introduced for use in the mining industry and construction of several tug types is initiated.[2]
