15th Fleet

Fifteenth Fleet is a support fleet, tasked with providing combat assets deemed essential when and where necessary in the Alpha Quadrant. The ships perform staggered patrols throughout the quadrant, overlapping areas of responsibility of both standing and mobile fleets. It, along with the 19th Fleet, is a re-imagining of the previous Task Force Model's TacFleet concept. Though largely comprised of tactical vessels, the fleet itself, when employed, is considered a strategic fleet..

It was formed in 2358.
