10th Fleet

Tenth Fleet (also known as the "Test Fleet") is a support fleet. The unit is more of a designation than an active fleet. While technically under the auspices of Star Fleet Command while underway, the ships of this unit are prototypes, vessels conducting post-construction testing or experimental testbeds for new technologies and otherwise under the direct authority of Star Fleet Engineering's division of Starship Construction.

It was formed in 2358.
