7.8 Isomagnetic EPS Conduits

By 2371, a new form of technology, isomagnetic conduits, is available to make EPS systems more efficient. When isomagnetic EPS conduits are in use, extra power can safely be transferred. Isomagnetic EPS conduits are still relatively rare by 2376; the Narrator determines whether they’re available for a particular ship. Generally, they are only built into post-2371 designs, though refits may also allow for their installation.
