Kennedy Space Center
Kennedy Space Center was the [[United States]' primary launch facility, as administered by NASA for the civilian space program. Opened in 1962, the American space program saw the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Skylab and Space Shuttle programs all launch from this location.
