January: The Dinyan-Yoyodyne Conglomerate, in actuality an early Augment corporation, begins working with the People's Republic of China on fast-tracking the development of advanced spacecraft technology intended to be used in exploring, settling and marketing the resources of the solar system. The design of the DY-50 class experimental transport begins, as does production and launch facilities in Xuhan province.
