History

• 2244: USS Ares (NCC-1650) is involved in the victory of the yards in this system against the Klingons, leaving them with an acute shortage of capital ships.

Notes

• It is unclear if this is a defensive victory for the Federation, or a successful attack on a Klingon shipyard. The Starship Files site's Surya/Coventry class issue does give a good accounting of the system being Federation (though years past those for SFC's canon Four Years War period).
