The actual statement allows for a launch scheduled for 2055, but canceled beforehand. However, the assumption here is that the craft's development failed to proceed far enough to warrant a launch and it was canceled the targeted year.

• The Eastern Coalition formally becomes a nation, subsuming the member states as political regions and retreats within the haphazard recovery processes that help define the era known as the Post-Atomic Horror. (SFC)
