- The Messier cruiser class began to undergo the third major upgrade to the warp engine systems, in order to keep up with the expansion of Earth-controlled space.[1]
- The Daedalus design was cut down in size for the first time, in order to develop new technology (via operational experience) as soon as possible.[2]
- The year is assumed, based on it occurring three times within four years.
- The Proxima Centauri colony declares independence from Earth.[3]
- The actual year is uncertain, but allegedly to have occurred twenty years before the first conference of the Coalition of Planets (which will not be game-canon) in 2155.
- The Shiputer Corporation is founded Earth.[4]
- The HMS New Zealand is sent to the New Aberdeen colony on a diplomatic mission from Earth.[5]
- A race of mutated Vulcans, called Fri'slen, plague the outpost on Trilan, murdering, cannibalizing, and spreading their infection. A V'Shar team eradicates the mutants via firebombing.[6]
