- The wreckage of the USS Verdun, Messier class, is discovered by chance during a joint UFP-Tarn survey of Torgu-Va, the descendants of the original crew still in the throes of a bitter battle with a similar group of Tarn castaways.[1][2]
- Star Fleet adopts a new uniform.[3]
- Peaceful relations are solidified, as a cease fire, between the Federation and the Cardassian Union.[4]
- The Federation-Cardassian War article on Memory Alpha suggests the 'official' wars ended in the 2350s and the skirmishes that followed, up until this year, were just border conflicts. However, almost the whole twenty-year period will be considered part of the overall conflict for game canon.
- The United Federation of Planets extends membership to Benzar.[5]
- The source says it took 9 years after 2357 for their membership to be accepted, largely due to controversey regarding the species' complete dependence upon genetic re-sequencing.
