History
- Prior to 2161: Arken II is a part of the Andorian Empire.[1]
- 2161: Arken is released from the Andorian Empire, in preparation for the latter's founding role in the United Federation of Planets.[1]
- 2165: The United Federation of Planets extends membership to Arken II.[1]
- Prior to 2259: Arken II establishes a moon mining colony on Azha-R7a, close to the Klingon border.[2]

Notes
- This is the homeworld of the Arkenites.
- In 2259, following a disaster, the Azha-R7a colonists accept Klingon assistance in return for joining the empire. Star Fleet is able to convince the Klingon governor to dissolve the agreement, allowing the colony to remain a part of the Federation.[2]
