Ship Prefixes

In the RPG, the following governments and agencies own/operate named vessels. The designations they used as prefixes for the ships are as follows:

• NASA/USAF - codes, such as OV-101, where the letters represented a mission type and the number was for sequentially designating a specific vessel within that mission
• ESA - no prefixes; just named vessels, sometimes accompanied by a missions-series name (ex: Ponce de León - Aventeur II)
• ISA - same as the ESA
• UESN - UES, for United Earth Ship
• UESF - starting with its founding in 2133, Starfleet re-designated all vessels as UESS, for United Earth Space Ship
• UFP Star Fleet - when founded in 2161 the UFP Star Fleet designated vessels as USS, short for United Star Ship
