• The Karakorum subclass of the Hercules transport was removed from service, due to lackluster performance. Commercial use of the civilian version, the FY-500, also ceased the same year.

The source says the Karakorum had ceased service with the UESF by the time commercial use halted, but it is assumed that the coincidentally ceased the same year.

• UE Starfleet had in its possession twenty fast Siebel transports to secure Sol against hostile takeover of outer planet assets and enough to be spared for interstellar expeditions.
