Awards (UFP SF)
Awards for Valor
The highest award for valor in the Federation is the Star Fleet Gold Star (which is also the highest award for anything in the UFP). Though this is a military award, it can (rarely) be awarded to civilians. It is warded for multiple consecutive heroic actions at the risk of life above and beyond all expectations of duty. (Most are awarded posthumously.)
