History
- 2209: Starfleet becomes involved in a refugee crisis that upsets the religious concerns of the Klingons and results in the loss of the USS Sentry. This results in "consequences" that directly led to the development of the Prime Directive.[1][2]

- Boreth (the Klingon name) is known as Gamma Demetrius prior to the 2209 incident.
