Normal Metals

  • Antimonium: commodity with unknown uses
  • Bakrinium: commodity with unknown uses
  • Cormaline: relatively common and widely-used mineral
  • Duridium: used in making durable barrels
  • Fortanium: mineral often used (by some cultures) to build space stations
  • Magnesite: used in warp drive reactors (as a form of protection from antimatter radiation) & hulls and can be used to interfere with certain types of scans and energy beams, including the transporter
  • Nitrium: widely used in the construction of Federation starships and warp reactors; can be found in asteroids
  • Noranium: very common ore used in metal alloys
  • Topaline: a rare mineral critical to the function of life support systems and sometimes used by early spacefarers
  • Trevium: used in some light generation devices
  • Trimagnesite: used in some light generation devices
  • Tritanium: when used within an alloy, is a widely-used construction material, such as ship bulkheads

Special Metals

  • Bernicium: used in replicators
  • Boronite: extremely rare; necessary component for synthesis of Omega molecules
  • Feldomite: rare commodity with unknown uses
  • Gallicite: rare mineral used in the construction of warp coils; though rare, often found in large deposits
  • Kelbonite: refractory mineral capable of deflecting or interfering with certain types of scans and energy beams, including the transporter
  • Ladarium: mineral used in the warp drives of some cultures, including the Cardassians
  • Latinum: rare, non-replicable liquid metal used as currency
  • Ryetalyn: rather rare mineral that is the only known cure for the deadly Rigelian fever
  • Trellium: a mineral used as insulation against certain anomalies, but causes neural pathways of Vulcans to degrade
  • Uridium: unstable mineral used in ship construction and sensor arrays
  • Vendarite: rare commodity with unknown uses
  • Zenite: when refined, often used to treat plant diseases

Radioactives

  • Kemocite: highly-regulated mineral that was a multiphasic isotope of a radiolytic compound; it has many applications depending on the level of refinement
  • Paralithium: used as fuel for some ion-based propulsion systems, and can be converted into trilithium
  • Pergium: element often used in life-support equipment, such as auxiliary reactors; usually found deep underground in veins
  • Uranium: element used in fission reactors

Gem Stones

  • Jevonite: used to enhance other objects, such as ornamental weapons
  • Keva: used in jewelry common as badges of office

Industrial Crystals

  • Benamite: rare and unstable; extremely difficult to synthesize; useful in quantum warp drives
  • Bilitrium: used in antimatter-based energy sources and explosives
  • Dilithium: critical to advanced warp drive's matter/antimatter reactions
  • Tricyanate: poisonous to humanoids, but used in some industrial capacities
