Historical Events

  • The New United Nations declared that "no Earth citizen can be made to answer for the crimes of their race or forebearers". [1]
  • The Class A3 / Mars Century SP-W04 'Zent Mk II' EVA pod enters service with several nations, their space agencies, and corporations.[2]
  • February: Tau One, the Daedalus, becomes the first manned vessel to attempt to leave the Sol system, when it launches for the heliopause.[3]

  • July: Contact with the main computer of the Daedalus is lost.[3]

  • August: After a prolonged effort to re-establish communications with Daedalus, brief telemetry contact with the monitoring systems revealed a series of onboard fires and subsystem failures. Soon thereafter, the ship vanished in the inner Oort cloud, and was presumed destroyed.[3]
