History

  • About 220,000 BCE: Some Orions from Pi-3 Orionis are transplanted to Rigel VII.[1]
  • About 203,000 BCE: Orion astronauts reach Rigel XIII and study the superstring located above the south pole.[1]
  • About 202,000 BCE: The Orions develop warp drive.[1]
  • 200,993 BCE: The Great Orion Empire (aka, First Orion Empire) is formed.[1]
  • About 141,430 BCE: The Great Orion Empire is destroyed by Doomsday Machines.[1]
There is no information as to why this planet wasn't destroyed.
  • About 32,720 BCE: The Second Orion Empire is in conflict with the First Federation.[1]
  • About 20,720 BCE: The Curved Rodinium Culture dominates the Orion region.[1]
  • About 8,000 BCE: The Twelfth Orion Empire expands into the Alpha quadrant.[1]

  • 1925: The Orions have first contact with the Tholians.[1]
  • 1934: The Orions have first contact with the Andorians on the latter's colony Cimera III.[1]
  • 1960: The Orions begin a series of raids on the Vegan Tyranny.[1]
  • 2040: The Vegan Tyranny is destroyed, resulting in the extinction of the Vegans.[1]

  • This is the "homeworld" for the transplanted Orions.
