- Between 21 August and 01 September: President Nanietta Bacco is assassinated on Deep Space Nine during opening ceremonies. Baras Rodirya, as "Ishan Anjar", is the designated President Pro Tempore, assumes the office until a special general election can be held. He instead petitions to serve the remainder of Bacco's term, through 2388.[3]
- Between 13 October and before 31 October: President Pro Tempore "Ishan Anjar" is revealed as Baras Rodirya and the architect of President Nanietta Bacco's assassination. Federation Councillor Sipak (of Vulcan) is appointed the new President Pro Tempore, after which Kellessar zh'Tarash, Member of the Parliament Andoria, is elected to the presidency.[3][4]
